This course will cover commercial spaces and how different window and door products can be
incorporated in the design to achieve the architect’s goal. It will feature some considerations
when making product decisions
Prerequisite Knowledge:
THE ATTENDEE WILL NEED TO HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMMERCIAL
ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN. THEY WILL NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MAKING DECISIONS
BASED ON USE AND FUNCTION.

Design decisions are the main focus when considerations include: building intent, budget,
design purpose and health and welfare of the employees inside of it.
